Aside from some high school shop classes, the vast majority of woodworkers
are self-taught. We stock up on tools and then go to work, usually alone
in our shops. It's like taking a trip without a map. We can all see as
far as the horizon, but what comes next? Woodworking schools offer one
answer. Spending a day or a week in the presence of a master can literally
change the way you work. You'll not only discover new techniques and tools,
but you may even absorb a new philosophy. With that in mind, we have listed
many of the dozens of classes and courses available. Everything from classes
that are just a couple of days to college programs that will build your
woodworking skills and create memories that will last a lifetime.
